Consultancy Services for Preparation of Drawing, Design, Tender Document and Supervision of Land Development, Embankment, Earth Protection, Resettlement and other related Civil works of the Project “Land Acquisition, Land Development and Resettlement for Implementation of Patuakhali 1320 (2 X 660) MW Coal Fired Thermal Power Plant” at Patuakhali, Bangladesh
Increased electricity generation is required to attain the desired economic development of Bangladesh. According to Power System Master Plan (PSMP, 2010) peak power demand forecast for 2030 is 33,708 MW. Government has set a target for approximately 20,000 MW to be generated by coal within 2030. As a component for fulfilling the target of PSMP 2010, Rural Power Company Ltd. (RPCL) has taken the initiative to implement the “1320 MW Coal Fired Thermal Power Plant at Kalapara Upazila under Patuakhali District”. RPCL is in the process of acquisition of 915.74 acres of land located at Nishanbaria, Dhankhali and Londa Mouzas under Dhankhali Union of Kalapara Upazila of Patuakhali District for the proposed power plant.
Services
Study of the site including topographic survey, mapping, earth/sand volume estimate and recommendation on layout of the proposed components including sub-soil investigations necessary for foundation design. - Preparation of details design and drawing, schedule with specification, bidding and contract documents. - Design, estimate (including contour map) and preparation of tender documents for resettlement, land development, embankment and earth protection. - Full time supervision and monitoring of construction works from the beginning to the end. - Checking and certifying the progress of works and final bill submitted by the Contractor for payment after execution the works.
