CHECKING OF DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION IN CONNECTION WITH PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF GENERAL AVIATION HANGARS, HANGAR APRON AND APRON.
The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has undertaken “Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) Expansion Project” with Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA). The project includes construction of “Third Terminal Building” and other infrastructures. In order to provide the land for the third terminal building the existing hangars and the building need to be relocated and as such the project of construction of new General Aviation Hangars, building and apron at the north side of the Fire Station of HSIA has been undertaken.

i) Land development (Approx. 461,315.40 Cum). ii) Construction of Apron (Hangar Apron and Apron at north side of Fire Station (Approx. 95, 056.55 Sqm). iii) Construction of General Aviation Hangar (Approx. 23,589 Sqm). iv) Electrical Works (Electrical Sub-Station, HT/LT Power Cable, Emergency Power Distribution System except Generators, Fire Detection and Protection System for Building and Aircraft, Overhead Travelling Crane, Motorized Hangar Main Door, Internal Electrification and Lighting for Hangar and Offices, Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) System, Mast Light, Car Parking Light etc.). v) Construction of 6-storied Building including RCC drain and Car park (5,662.00 Sqm). vi) Construction of Water Supply, Sanitary, Drainage, Sewage Network, Construction of Retaining Wall and Culvert.
