CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DESIGN REVIEW AND SUPERVISION OF CONSTRUCTION OF DHAKA-ASHULIA ELEVATED EXPRESSWAY
Dhaka-Ashulia Elevated Expressway project will connect the northeast part of the country to the capital Dhaka, minimize traffic congestion in and around Dhaka-Ashulia areas, improve road connectivity of the northern part of Dhaka, and connect with the Asian Highway network including national highways. The alignment of Dhaka-Ashulia Elevated Expressway Project starts Project from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and ends near EPZ Saver via Abdullahapur-Ashulia-Baipayl. The length of the main Elevated Expressway component is 24 Kms approx. with Ramps of 10.843 km length approx. There is a flyover of about 1.915 km length at Nabinagar. Project also includes construction of an At-grade road of 14.28 km approx. from Abdullahapur to Baipayl. Major construction works of the project include acquisition of 40.89 hectares of land, construction of 1.92 km Nabinagar flyover, reconstruction of 14.28 km At-Grade road, construction of 2.72 km bridges, 500 metres of overpass and flyover and construction of 5 toll plazas.
