Consultancy Services for Preparation of Detailed Architectural & Structural Design, Drawing, Cost Estimate, Bid Document and Permanent Supervision for Construction of Elevated Expressway at Chittagong from Lalkhan Bazar to Shah Amanat Airport.
Understanding the demand for viable solutions and being instructed by the Honorable Prime Minister, Chittagong Development Authority (CDA) has initiated the construction of Lalkhan Bazar - Hazrat Shah Amanat International Airport Elevated Expressway project (LAEEP). Expressways are arterial roads with access control that are intended to provide high level of safety and efficiency in the movement of large volumes of traffic at high speeds. With a view to minimize the traffic congestion in and around Chittagong area as well as to improve road connectivity of the southern part of Chittagong by linking important commercial, industrial and business centers of the City, CDA has undertaken a dynamic step to construct approximately 21km (including ramps) of Elevated Expressway in southern part of Chittagong City.
Phase–I: Design & Selection of Contractor - Topographic survey along with details survey; - Preparation of alignment of proposed Elevated Expressway; - Sub-soil investigation; - Preparation of detail architectural drawing (plan, elevation, section, 3D perspective views, etc.) & structural and geo-metric design, preparation of working drawings; - Preparation of drawing design of Toll Plaza and Bus bay; - Preparation of geometric curve design; - Preparation of design, calculation sheet; - Preparation of road design along with drain, cross drain, culvert to drainage, water flow; - Preparation of technical specifications; - Preparation of detailed cost estimate with bid/tender documents; - Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Management Plan (EMP). Phase – II: Supervision of Construction works - Construction supervision; - Quality control; - Check the bill in each interim payment certificate; - Preparation of reports; - Defect liability period.
