Duration: February, 1990-March, 1992 Cyclone protection project-ii


The project involved improvement of existing 300 km coastal embankments and 389 existing hydraulic structures including 190 km of new embankment, 279 new hydraulic structures and some 70 km of protection works including improvement of drainage system. The project also comprised repair and improvement of feeder roads in the coastal areas.
